Worldwide Biggies designs properties that launch and live on multiple media platforms—online, TV, film, mobile and consumer products—and involve audiences in meaningful ways.

Worldwide Biggies was founded by Albie Hecht, former president of Nickelodeon Entertainment and Spike TV responsible for launching hits such as Spongebob Squarepants, Rugrats, Blue’s Clues, Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and Dora The Explorer, as well as Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. Biggies was started in September 2005 and has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

Hecht assembled a team from diverse media backgrounds to make Worldwide Biggies a full-service studio that is uniquely positioned to take advantage of new technology and content distribution channels to create a library of original and licensed hits that could be popular across all mediums. Worldwide Biggies develops and produces a range of entertainment content including computer generated (CG) features, hi-definition (HD) movies and television series, direct to DVD series, and broadband and mobile content aimed at the family entertainment audience.
